Costa Rica Transportation Tips

Let’s imagine that you decided to visit Costa Rica, and the moment of traveling has arrived. However, you have never been to that country, and you either arranged your transportation through a random “inexpensive site” or have no plans yet.

Of course, once you step out of the terminal, you will have to deal with two different scenarios. If you have already arranged transportation before your trip, you must find the person waiting for you. Otherwise, prepare for an invasion of informal transportation offerers and overpriced taxi services, which will probably make your first minutes in the Costa Rican territory a little hectic, not to say confusing.

Low prices are never the best option if you want to save a few dollars in transportation. Costa Rica is the country of a million sayings, the first to learn, ” lo barato sale caro.” In other words, if you buy low-price transportation, consider some factors such as drivers who have been long hours behind the steering wheel, improper insurance protection, or vehicles that are not officially authorized to transport tourists. In addition, Costa Rican roads are windy. The weather conditions tend to vary from minute to minute depending on where you are driving; for that reason, you need an experienced driver who can deliver a pleasant drive.

Remember that your family’s safety is always critical, especially in a foreign country. Therefore, you need to get your transportation from responsible providers who understand the importance of providing your family with the standards of service that they deserve.
